Requirements and applicable Documents for the Friendly Countries Visa

Requirements Friendly Countries VisaThe documents that must be presented for the request to apply for the visa are the following;

  1. Special Power of Attorney to Delvalle & Delvalle, given by the principal applicant. The document will be drafted by us and signed by the client at our offices. This document will be authenticated by a Notary. Delvalle & Delvalle will take care of this authentication.

  2. Complete Copy of the Passport legalized by a notary from Panama. Delvalle & Delvalle will take care of this authentication.
    This document will be presented for the principal applicant as well as all of the dependants should they exist.

  3. Criminal background records, issued at the country of origin of the applicant or from the country where they have resided in for the last two years.
    If the applicant is providing a criminal background record of a country from which he is not a national, but is a resident instead, the applicant must provide identification as a legal resident that must be authenticated or apostilled.
    The migratory authorities demand that the police record be authenticated by a Panamanian Consulate from the country from which the document or apostille was issued.
    This document must be presented for the principal applicant as well as for all of the dependants that may exist.

  4. Medical Health Certificate, issued by a medical clinic that is recognized in Panama. Our working team can refer one if the client does not know of any.
    This document must be presented for the principal applicant as well as any dependants that may exist.

  5. Two certified Checks:
    (A) $ 250 USD payable to Tesoro Nacional (national treasury) for the immigration fees, and
    (B) USD $ 800 payable to immigration for repatriation expenses (deportation).
    IMPORTANT NOTE: Once immigration has issued a resolution regardless if the request for residence approved or denied the fees are not reimbursable.
    This fee must only be paid for the principal applicant; the dependants are not required to pay it.
    The costs for these fees are included in the expenses quoted, so when the visa request is presented, these fees will have been paid by the client to Delvalle & Delvalle, for this reason we will take care of making and issuing these checks to be attached to the application.

  6. Sword Statement Form that explains the reason for which the applicant is seeking permanent residence in Panama and their capacity to support their family and dependants. This form is provided by us and must be filled out at the offices of Delvalle & Delvalle.

  7. Four (4) carnet/Passport sized photographs. This requirement must be supplied by the client and given to Delvalle & Delvalle.
    This document must be presented for the principal applicant as well as for all of the dependants should they exist.

  8. Proof of investment; starting from the premise that the applicant will apply for the friendly countries visa to open and manage their own business in Panama, a copy of the documents of the created corporation must be presented to the department of immigration, in which the applicant must be acting as president and holder of 100% of the shares. for more information about corporations please visit; https://www.delvallepanama.com/es/Sociedades-Anonimas/informacion-general.html
    The copies of the documents of the corporation must be verified by a public authorized notary, Delvalle & Delvalle will take care of the authentication.
    If the company is going to process a permit of operation, which is recommendable, a copy of this document must be presented as well.

  9. Proof of solvency: After approving and opening the personal bank account, the bank must issue a letter or certification, addressed to the migration authorities in which they certify that the applicant has deposited at least $ 5,000 USD in the account.
    Delvalle & Delvalle will take care of this process together with the bank in order to attach it to the application.

  10. If the client can provide any document that proves a link to Panama such as a contract or promise to purchase real estate or a lease for any real estate for personal residence or offices, it is recommended to attach it to the application.
